Whew. First, thanks to all who said nice things about my torque dealy this morning and thanks Nicole for sharing it. And if you said mean things then you can cram it with walnuts. Just kidding, you can use ANY kind of nut.

first to a neighborhood breakfast. yum.

Then swimming with the kiddos at the pool

Then “Old McDonnalds” (McDonnalds) for the kids

Then I got half way into a hub rebuild: new bearings, seals and gaskets.

Which turned out to go both as expected and unexpected with a few surprises thrown in because that’s the way it goes. Holy freaking hell is this hub and disc is heavy also, im amazed that all the torque ends up at a single plate held on with 6 bolts torqued to 26 lbs-ft. nutty.

Then a hike and dinner with my wife

Then more hub which I finished at 10:45. Great gads I’m tired...night all. Thanks again for the article support.

I don’t understand how anybody could be shitty about a post about torque’s relation to horsepower.

I’ve also been having a hell of a time getting the bearings replaced on my old SAAB. I wish they were of the sort you’re working with.
